Gem's Educational Childcare
We initially inherited the brand and as the number of centres grew, we created a unique identity for each location to help to differentiate them. They became Miro, Rata and Kowhai with fabricated elements within the entrances to express the name on visitors. We rolled on with photography to capture the insider experience and took this through to a new website design, producing video tours around each centre to give caregivers a chance to look around. We also added a tour from a child's perspective to show what the kids see! Our work to create a visualisation highlighting the challenges of the sector was one way to get Gem's noticed, which we continue to do through recruitment efforts to attract the best staff.
